Still learning about templates and the best way to use them, but since it looks like we're going to have 27 artifacts, having to duplicate the image+links to translations in both the Artifacts page and the Codex_of_the_Lost_Ring#The_Codex_Transcripts, would it make sense to try and develop a standard template for them, so that way it's easy to simply call the template and ensure that a) its formatted the same way in both spots b) changed when/if the other is changed and c) easy to drop in the next 23. the difference is the layout of them... on the codex, the focus is in order, page by page... on artifacts, the focus is by omph/location... I could possibly set up a template to dynamically create the right format by parameters... then just the template page would need to be changed with the updates... I see what you're saying... I'll contemplate it. --Thebruce 11:22, 17 March 2008 (MST) | the difference is the layout of them... on the codex, the focus is in order, page by page... on artifacts, the focus is by omph/location... + | Well the order that they are listed on the page can be different, but their basic layout of thumbnail over esperanto over english was what I was thinking about templating. I guess in theory, the template would have to support ifs for each of the 6 languages, though with all the other things going on, I dunno who is going to translate them beyong english and esper.. forgot who said they were working on it..
