I was sent here on a mission - "trovu la ringon perditan" - "find the lost ring". It's been two months and I haven't found the ring yet...at least, I don't think I have. Maybe in a parallel world, we've already found the lost ring. Maybe in a different version of reality, we've already achieved a big part of our mission. Who knows how our mission's played out in the rest of the multiverse? Maybe Lucie stayed in France, maybe Diego never came home from his geographic investigations in Brazil...maybe Marcus still has normal hair. What if, in a different branch of the multiverse, Eli Hunt didn't hide from me? What if he didn't go to South America? What if I had managed to convince him to stay and share everything he knows? In that world, have we already found the lost ring?

I know this probably sounds pointless, why ask so many questions about what *might* have happened, but there's a very good reason I'm obsessing over parallel realities. In chapter 16 of the Lost Ring Codex, we learned about the theory of athletic synchronization. We learned that memories of our own lives in an alternate reality can be recovered. We can use labyrinth training to synchronize with parallel versions of ourselves. So, guess what - that's exactly what I did today.

I went to the labyrinth at Cardiff Castle today to see if I could remember finding the lost ring in a different version of reality. After tracing the path of the labyrinth exactly twenty-seven times, I had a vision...a very strange vision. Eli and I were working together in a study. We had been up all night poring over the Lost Ring Codex, reading your theories on emails and the forums. We were on the omphaputer testing every possible command. The vision was short, too short. It ended with me remembering a new code for the omphaputer: MAKE OMPH KNOT. You know, make an omphalus knot that you would make to tie two strings together.

The command works. Try it in the omphaputer! It does some crazy stuff. I don't know what the crazy means, yet. You have to run the command yourself and let me know what you think. In the meantime, we have to try and figure out - what is the omphaputer showing us, and how do we do that in the real world? I have a feeling my parallel self hasn't figured that part out yet. When we figure it out, maybe other Ariadne can walk a labyrinth and remember what we already know in this world!

This is getting complicated...but I like it. It's multiverse collaboration. Let's hope it works.

Did it work? I think so! But what does my memory of an alternate reality mean?

Me enviaron aquí con una misión. "Trovu la ringon perditan". "Encuentra el anillo perdido". Han pasado dos meses y todavía no encontré el anill, por lo menos, no creo q lo haya hecho.

Tal vez en un mundo paralelo, ya encontramos el anillo perdido. Tal vez en una versión diferente de la realidad, nosotros ya logramos una gran parte de la misión. ¿Quién sabe cómo resultó nuestra misión en el resto del Multiverso? Tal vez, Lucie se quedó en Francia. Tal vez, Diego nunca regresó a su hogar de su investigación geográfica en Brasil. Tal vez, Markus todavía tiene el pelo normal.

¿Y qué si en una rama diferente del Multiverso, Eli Hunt no se escondió de mi? ¿Qué, si no fue a Sudamérica? ¿Qué si yo me las arreglé para convencerlo de que se quede y comparta todo lo que él sabe? En ese mundo, ¿ya hemos encontrado el anillo perdido?

Sé que esto puede sonar inútil, ¿por qué hacer tantas preguntas sobre qué podría haber pasado? Pero hay un razón muy buena de por qué me obsesiono con las realidades paralelas.

En el capítulo 16 del codex del anillo perdido, aprendimos sobre la teoría de la sincronización atlética. Aprendimos que memorias de nuestras propias vidas en una realidad alterna, pueden ser recuperadas. Podemos usar entrenamientos en laberintos para sincronizar con versiones paralelas de nosotros mismos.

Así que ¿adivinen qué...? Eso es exactamente lo que hice hoy. Fui al laberinto del castillo Cardiff hoy para ver si podía recordar haber encontrado el anillo perdido en una versión diferente de la realidad.

Después de recorrer el camino del laberinto exactamente 27 veces, tuve una visión. Un visión muy extraña.

Eli y yo estábamos trabajando juntos en un estudio. Habíamos estado despiertos toda la noche revolviendo todos los codex del anillo perdido, leyendo sus teoría en los mails y los foros. Estábamos con el omphaputer tratando cada comando posible.

La visión fue corta. Demasiado corta. Terminó conmigo recordando un nuevo código para el omphaputer: "make omph knot". Ya sabés, hacer un nudo de omphalos como atar fuertes nudos juntos. El comando funciona. Pruébenlo en el omphaputer, hace unas cosas locas. No sé significan esas cosas locas todavía. Tienen que ingresar el comando ustedes mismos y decirme lo que piensan.

Mientras tanto, tenemos que tratar de averiguar qué nos está mostrando el omphaputer y cómo hacemos eso en el mundo real. Tengo la sensación de que mi yo paralelo no ha descubierto eso todavía. Cuando nosotros lo descubramos, tal vez otra Ariadne pueda recorrer un laberinto y recordar lo que nosotros ya sabemos en este mundo.

Esto se está poniendo complicado pero me gusta. Es colaboración multiversal. Esperemos que funcione.
