: I'd love to find a way to generate an RSS feed of the Timeline so that it can be subscribed to. There may be a way, with the new changes I made to the layout... I might be able to get to it this week. --[[User:Thebruce|Thebruce]] 20:32, 10 March 2008 (MST) : I'd love to find a way to generate an RSS feed of the Timeline so that it can be subscribed to. Is anyone else seeing the text slowly moving to the left (and eventually being eaten by the nav bar) with each <blockquote tag? Any idea how to fix that? The last two dates and some of the emails are unreadable without opening the edit page for me. -Zaranai

[edit] Latest News

I'm not familiar with Wiki formatting (I simply have been imitating the code I see when I want to add stuff) but is there a way to make additions to the timeline automatically appear on the home page under Latest News? That way we wouldn't have to worry about posting new stuff twice. Hikaro 19:33, 10 March 2008 (MST)

well it's possible to use includes, but then a lot of wiki programming or otherwise would have to be done to only show the latest entries, and the Timeline code would be more complex... ideally the Timeline is what should be kept up to date. The front page news doesn't need to be detailed, just quick links to things that have happened. I'm working on making the timeline a little more streamlined so it doesn't get enormous (such as summarizing chapters and date ranges, and moving the details into separate pages). But typically if something very important happens, the change can be made on the front page first, just so it's noticable, then copied to the timeline.
welcome to the fun of wiki-ing ;)
