Ni estis forgesintaj ĉion kiam ni vekiĝis en ĉi tiu mondo.

Ni estis bonŝancaj, ke la neodrinara maniero de nia alveno faris fortan impreson je la urbanoj kiuj trovis nin, duone senvestaj kiel ni estis, okulbandaĝitaj, laŭraporte ne vekeblaj dum kelkaj tagoj, kaj tiam plejparte nepovantaj paroli la lokan lingvon. Informo disiĝis pri nia drameca kaj neeksplikita apero, kaj pro granda bonŝanco, tiuj e el ni kiuj vekiĝis en la sama regiono -- Bakhee kaj Akira, Micha kaj Kelly -- estis baldaũ kunigitaj per la disigo de loka klacado.
Tamen, bezonis pli ol jaro por la resto de el ni trovi unu la alian kaj eĉ pli longe por trovi nian veran celon. Se ne ekzistus la tatuoj kiujn ni portis sur niaj dekstraj brakoj, mi certas ke ni estus malsukcesintaj en nia misio.
Fine, ni lernis navigi laŭ la kodo, kaj uzis ĝin por vojaĝi al la arkeologia situo ĉe Antikvan Olympia. Tie ni studis kaj enketadis dum multaj jaroj, aktivigante niajn perditajn memorojn, praktikante nian sporton, kaj ekfunkciigante planon.
Fine, ni komprenis nian mision ĉi tiel: Iniciati vian mondon en la perditajn tradiciojn de la labirinto kaj atleta sinkronado, kaj restaŭri reto de laborantaj (greka vorto) Se ni sukcesis, ne nur savigus multaj mondoj, sed ni ankaŭ havus rimedon reveni hejmen.
Ni postlasis ĉi tiun kodekson ĉar ni ekkonstatis, ke ni eble ne estas la unuaj ses senditaj al ĉi tiu mondo, kaj eble ni ne estos la lastaj. Ni volas helpi estontajn vojaĝantojn lerni kajagi pli rapide ol ni. Unu afero -- estis tre malfacil esti apartigitaj de niaj familioj kaj hejmoj dum ĉi tiu longa tempo. Alia afero estas, ke kun ĉiu pasanta jaroj, ni portas la pezegan ŝarĝon de la scio, ke ni riskis la perdon de aliaj mondoj. Pro tiu du aferoj, estas nepre ke iu estonteca iniciato kaj aktivigo estu rapidigitaj per tiom da memorhelpiloj eble.
Ĉi tiu koekso estas via memorhelpilo, kaj via indico.
Ni elektis la lingvon Esperanto por ĉi tiu teksto pro la malfacilaĵoj kiuj ni havis komuniki unu kun la alia. Ni estas kuraĝigitaj per la invento de universala lingvo kaj celas, kiam ni revenas hejmen, verki niajn proprajn versiojn de la granda verko de Szmurlo. Kun iom da bonŝanco, jam kiam vi legas ĉi tion, Esperanto estos estiĝinta dua lingvo por ĉiuj universalaj vojaĝantoj. Ĉar ĝi ankoraŭ estas nova lingvo al ni, ni esperas ke vi pardonos iujn tradukajn erarojn kiun ni faris.
Ni faras 7 kopioj de ĉi tiu teksto kaj intencas reveni hejmen kun po unu teksto postlasinte unu tie ĉi, disigita trans la globo por certigi ke ĝi estos trovita kaj komprenata nur de samspecaj vojaĝantoj. Akcidenta inciato kaj aktivigo povus estis ekstreme danĝeraj por via mondo, kaj tial ni provis preskaŭ tute malebligi ke iu havus la scion ĉiene escepte ke ili estis senditaj en misio por rehavigi ĝin.
Ni signis ĉiun ĉapitron de ĉi ekzemplero de la kodekso per provu de rehavigo, do se komunikado estas restaŭrita trans la mondoj, ni povos sekvi vian progreson. Ni kredas ke, per la helpo de ĉi tiu kodekso, vi povos finfari vian mision ene de 5 jaroj.
Memoru: ĉi tiu estas nur la dua el 27 ĉapitroj en la kodoj. Ni deziras al vi bonŝancon kaj sekuran vojaĝon kiujn vi entreprenos por rehavigi ilin.

We had forgotten everything when we woke up in this world.

We were lucky, that the unusual manner of our arrival made a strong impression on the cityfolk who found us, half naked as we were, with our eyes bandaged, and reportedly unresponsive for several days and even then mostly unable to speak the local language. Information spread regarding our dramatic and unexplained appearance, and through great good fortune, those of us who awoke in the same region -- Rakhee and Akira, Micha and Kelly -- were soon brought together through distribution of local (chat? discussion?)
However, it took more than a year for the rest of us to find one another kaj even longer for us to discover our true goal. If we hadn't had the tatoos on our right arms, I'm certain we would have been unsuccessful in our mission.
