[edit] Urgent mission: Who wants a trackstick? (link)

[edit] May 24, 12:17pm (Updated May 26)
Update: If you volunteer for this mission, I'll send you a trackstick. You can keep yours if you successfully complete the mission. If you fail, or run out of time, you should pass it on...like the torch. I'm only sending tracksticks to team members we trust. So I know you'll either succeed, or do the right thing. We're good like that.

Hey everyone. Kai here.

We've got a new mission.* City-scale labyrinths. And I've got the perfect technology for it.

Tracksticks. Lots of tracksticks. Enough to make our 27 ompha-knots, and then some.

Here's what a trackstick is:
It works anywhere on the planet. Traveled locations can be shown via a red line that is traced on satellite photos and 3D terrain using the latest mapping technologies from Googleâ„¢ Earth. Trackstick continuously records its exact route, stop times, speed, direction, and other valuable information, all of which can be quickly downloaded and viewed on your computer.::
If you have no idea what a city-scale labyrinth is, check this out.

We know we have to trace at least 27 of these, and that they have to be at least 3 stadia wide and have at least 3 circuits. But the bigger and the more circuits, the better. We'll use tracksticks to prove the exact location and path of the labyrinth.
Why now? Because we finally unlocked the city labyrinth instructions from the ompha-puter, and because Eli Hunt's research revealed the first five omphalabyrinth cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sao Paolo, Buenos Aires, and Seoul.
We're still trying to figure out how to get a list of the other omphacities, but this is a good start.
We have to get this world's omphalos strength up to at least 100%, and probably more according to some math a few of our sofia have worked up.
So here's how we're going to do this.
If you live in a city that we need to build a labyrinth in, let me know and send me your mailing address via Private Message, with a note explaining why you're a true member of team agonothetai. If you've been practicing human labyrinths, or running personal labyrinths, or retrieving artifacts, I'll know you're a true member of team agonothetai. Of course, if I've never seen you on the forums and none of the other agonothetai can vouch for you, you'll have to prove that you're trackstick-worthy.
If there are other agonothetai near you, coordinate and form a team for this mission. Then, pick one of you as the mission captain, to get the trackstick, and I'll mail it out to the captain's address.
  • Thanks to some secret information passed on from the counter-agonothetai. It seems like we're not completely on opposite sides. We both want omphalos strength increased -- but why? I hope we get James back on our side sooner rather than later. There are so many questions we need answered about Theo and their purpose. If you have questions for James about Theo, private message them to me.
